Good Kniight
In this scrolling platformer, help the valiant Sir Darran on a heroic mission to rescue a princess from the fearsome dragon Embers. Reach the flagpole by dodging hazards such as arrows, fireballs, pikemen, swing platforms, blades, and lava. Collect flags for bonus challenges and extra lives.
Starting a Game
Move the joystick down on the start screen to choose between SFX and Music when in-game.
Press the fire button on the start screen to begin the game.
Gameplay
Control Sir Darren by moving the joystick.
Make Sir Darren jump by pressing any of the Fire buttons. Move the joystick while in mid-air to control where Sir Darren lands.
Complete each section by moving Sir Darren to the flag on the right-hand side of the screen. Jump on the flag to complete the section and move to the next.
The bottom section of the screen tracks your score, and current progress. Reach the end of the castle to save the princess and become a hero!
Obstacles
Various obstacles block the way between Sir Darren and each flag. Jump and time your movements carefully to avoid them! If Sir Darren touches an obstacle, falls, or is hit by a projectile he will perish and lose a life!
When all of Sir Darren’s lives are lost, the game resets.
Story
The great green dragon Embers has kidnapped the princess and the king is most upset with the situation.
He has called upon Sir Darren of Durham, also know as the Good Kniight to set forth and rescue his daughter.
With a stomach full of marmite on crumpets and 2 cups of tea Sir Darren sets out on this grand and blummin’ scary adventure.
