P0 Snake
In this classic arcade challenge, you guide a growing snake toward every bite of food. Hold fire to rotate clockwise. Don't let the snake's head touch obstacles or its own tail. Master your movement and timing through 30 challenging levels.
Starting a Game
The start screen allows the entry of level passwords to begin the game at a previously completed level. Move the joystick in the correct sequence of eight directions for a level to skip to it.
Alternatively, to start a game from the first level, press the Fire button on the start screen.
Gameplay
P0 Snake puts the player in control of a snake, tasked with eating all of the pills in each level while avoiding obstacles hitting the vulnerable head of the snake.
The snake continually moves clockwise with no input - press any of the Fire buttons on the joystick to move the snake counter-clockwise.
The number of pills remaining in the current level is shown in the top right-hand side of the screen. Collect pills by moving the snakes head over them - when the required number of pills are collected, the level is completed!
When the snake’s head hits an obstacle, the snake is destroyed and a life is lost, resetting the current level to the start. Bonus lives can be found in some levels - appearing as the same icon as the lives in the bottom left-hand side of the screen. Move the snake’s head over bonus lives to pick them up!
Level passwords
P0 snake features a password entry system designed around moving the joystick. After completing each level, a combination of 8 directional arrows is shown - make a note of the password for levels if you plan on replaying from them!
