The Spectrum has been carefully engineered and extensively tested using proprietary test equipment to achieve the lowest lag possible.
The television used and its display settings can introduce additional lag and so must be set up correctly.
High definition televisions apply a degree of digital signal processing to the HDMI input before it is displayed. This introduces some delay and can affect the sharpness of the image.
To avoid this, please switch your TV input to Game Mode (or
a similarly named setting). For example see
